Guest Tyler Durden Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 In some XP installations, I've noticed that setting the Performance, Memory usage, Adjust for best performance of System cache results in a non bootable system, taking longer time to load profile then unloading it, in a endless loop. Anyone else experienced this and have a solution to this issue? In some cases, the hardware and software is identical, cloned. As always, any help would be appreciated.

It should not even be there but, alas, it is. - Thee Chicago Wolf
Guest Tyler Durden Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Re: Memory: best performance of system cache To run some specific applications we need the performance setting to be set as system cache, and some systems do fine (better than with the original setting) and others not. I've never heard of any app requiring this setting. What app is this? - Thee Chicago Wolf
