I'm sure there must be a simple solution for this but, when I try to selet text in Word 2000, if the text is larger than the screen will display, when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen the text scrolls upward so fast that I can't stop at the point I want. Is it possible to slow this down at all?

Many thanks.

Hi

What font size text are you using?

I have just tried 72 ( Word 2010 ) and it is no problem.

How are you scrolling the text?

I use the small up and down arrows top right and bottom left of screen

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

Sorry maybe I didn't make it very clear. I'm left clicking the start of the text then holding left mouse button down and dragging down to select the text.
