al shookup Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Hi.. I am a newbie ...first question. I recently updated my BT Yahoo email system. I am now having problems accessing emails. The emails are received in inbox okay but when clicked on they appear but won't open up to a site. (for example, when an email is received from Groupon I cannot open up the web page where is says 'view'. All I get is a ping sound and a message at the bottom of the screen saying 'pop-up blocked'. However when I check, I can see that pop-ups have not been blocked on the pc system. Any ideas please? thanks Quote

RandyL Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Check these settings in IE. Tools> Internet Options>Security tab>Custom level>Enable pop-up blocker. Tools>Internet Options>Privacy tab>Turn on popup blocker. Note also the settings tab. Tools>Internet options>Advanced>Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts (when tabbed browsing is turned off) Another option is to open a new tab or window. Then copy the shortcut and paste in the address bar. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
