Guest Rachel Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Ok, I am lost. I am fairly good with computers but I am stumped. My computer crashed recently-hard drive wiped out, paid a repair man to fix but even he couldn't fix my sound problem. I finally got it to work but it was really bad sound so I decided to upgrade my speakers, big mistake. Now I have NO sound. At first it was garbled and I tried some trouble shooting tips and now there is nothing. Can someone please link me to 1. Drivers i should have already on my computer - Windows XP 2. I also have Sound Blaster Live 24 - downloaded but help me make sure it's set as default. 3. Help me make sure all my programs under Sounds, games and video's and other applicable places are all set to the correct settings for Windows. I know I'm not asking for much LOL but if anyone could PLEASE help I would greatly appreciate it soooo much! Thank you! -- Rachel - Debty Beautiful Beads http://www.debtybeautifulbeads.etsy.com

Thank you! > Your post is not clear. - Do you actually have a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit sound card physically installed in your computer? - Do you have a built-in motherboard sound capability, and if so, did you disable it before attempting to install the SB card? -What did you download and from where? http://tinyurl.com/69ex6u - Did you install the drivers you downloaded?
