How do I retrieve a lost Windows Live ID?

I signed up to a Windows Live ID and got either a live.co.uk, live.com, hotmail.co.uk or a hotmail.com email address. Now I have forgotten my sign-in. I signed up using my real name, DOB and address. I set up a security question rather than an alternative email address. I need my Live ID so I can find the product key for Microsoft Office on my new computer. How do I retrieve it? Is there a helpline number?
