To Whom It May Concern:

I am tired of receiving messages containing malicious computer programs

(viruses) from your e-mail address!!!

If within 1-2 days you do not stop sending messages to my e-mail address, I

will have to address this issue to the Police!...

Today I received a hard copy of your data logs from my Internet service

provider. The copy contains your IP address, logs of sending malicious

programs and your e-mail address details...

I am sending you the copy of the document containing your data and logs of

sending malicious programs as the proof of your fault!!!!!!

You must print the document containing the list of your data and logs of

sending malicious programs and pass it on to your Internet service provider

with, so that they could find out why the viruses are sent from your

computer to my e-mail address!!!!

Ask your Internet service provider to resolve this problem!!!!

Do this now!!!

Once again!!! If you don't stop sending the letters, I will address to the

Police and file a lawsuit against you!!!

End of email. Deleted it at my email server by myself via Mailwasher Pro.

It did have a file with it which I did not open.

Just ignore it. Someone has likely harvested your e-mail address and

spams the person who sent you that e-mail.

Re: Anyone getting this email?

Most likely that person is infected with some sort of malware and he\she does not realize it.

These emails are probably sent by this malware from the address book of the OP who has your ady in there

Dave

It's a scam, and a clever one made to look like it comes from an

inexperienced user being targeted by spam. The "log" contains a trojan.

Don't open it! See post "The complaint that's an attack" here:

That only means your address was in the BCC (blind carbon copy) part of the

email, which you can't see.

Delete and ignore.

Ah... another social enginerring spam. The log is an executable containing

some bad stuff in it. Wanna bet?

There it is. MUST PRINT blah blah...

They want to make sure you run the executable.

Scare tactics... so typical.

Delete the email. Problem solved. Btw, I hope you didn't run the attachment.
