Guest Rob Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I have a 2003 domain and 2 2008 terminal servers. Right now, we are using 3 different servers for licensing. I want to set up one of my domain controllers as the license server so servers and clients can detect it. Can I install 2008 TS licenses on a 2003 server? If so, how?

No. You *can*, though install 2003 licenses on a 2008 license server. -- Regards, Hank Arnold Microsoft MVP Windows Server - Directory Services
Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Re: 2008 TS Licenses on 2003 domain No. A Win2k8 terminal server requires a Win2k8 license server. if you simply put up a Win2k8 license server, it can service Win2k8 and everything below it (win2k3 and Win2k terminal servers). -- Jeff Pitsch Microsoft MVP - Terminal Services "Rob" <Rob@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9F01E9BC-8619-4B37-B7FB-A17CCECEA81C@microsoft.com... >I have a 2003 domain and 2 2008 terminal servers.
