I occasionally check at netstat with a particular syntax or two.

Today, the command prompt window opens but closes immediately so that no

information can be read.

What would be the problem?

When you issue console commands, don't run them from the Run box. If you do

then you deprive yourself of much of the output that the command generates.

Start a Command Prompt instead, by typing cmd in the Run box, then do your

netstat command. What does it say?

I see I've been away too long. Of course, do one at a time. Three months

away from the keyboard reduces one to first grade. Sorry. and thanks.
