Guest mark Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I have XP laptops set to synchronize with a server running W2K Server. After sp3, files that were created offline, failed to synchronize when they were connected. When the laptop was connected and online, these offline files disappeared. When the laptop was disconnected, the offline files reappeared. This has nothing to do with permissions and the failure occurred as a consequence of the updated (as did other problems such a further updates failing) Any ideas? -- Mark

Chat and e-mail support is available only in the United States and Canada. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=1173 | select "Windows XP" then select "Windows XP Service Pack 3" -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ mark wrote: > I have XP laptops set to synchronize with a server running W2K Server. > > After sp3, files that were created offline, failed to synchronize when > they were connected. > When the laptop was connected and online, these offline files > disappeared. > > When the laptop was disconnected, the offline files reappeared. > > This has nothing to do with permissions and the failure occurred as a > consequence of the updated (as did other problems such a further updates > failing) > > > Any ideas?
