lotsofburst Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 ok so ive just about finished my new pc and its fine exept, i was intending to have 1x 120Gb SSD for my OS and 2x 1TB HDD for data. however once i finished installing my OS i looking in "my computer" and it was only showing my C: drive (120Gb SSD) so i looked in my "Computer Managment" in storage, and it shows all my drives are there. i have all my drivers installed, so i was wondering how do i get them to dispaly in "my computer" so i can use them to store my games and music ect'. ive looked on afew forums and alot of people have mentioned a RAID settup, but i also saw some people just trying to use them as mass storage (like im intending to) so to clear up - 1) how can i get my 2x 1Tb HDDs to show up and be usable 2) is the performance increase for a RAID settup worth it? or even noticeable? i apolagise now for any spelling mistakes, im in work typing in a rush. Start > type in .......diskmgmt.msc .................ENTER Do the drives show up here ? If so they should show as Disk 1 E: and Disk2 F: ( or two other letters ) Do they show as NTFS ? What is written against each drive ? Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
