Volume License or Prof. on TS

Greetings!!!

I have one server with MS 2003 stnd edition with Terminal Service running.

As I am using 60 Thin Client system who are connecting to my server. I

purchased MS office 2007 professional edition OEM. It got installed, but when

i open word or excel it says this Microsoft office version will not run on

terminal server. Then i found on internet, it says that only volume license

ms office will work on terminal server. But when i contacted my dealer he

said i will have to buy minimum 5 volume license. But as i will install only

on server and all the thin client system will access from that, then why

should i buy 5 volume license, it will be a costly affair for me.

So, any other alternative, or just anyone can explain me on my query.

Thanks in advance

Warm Regards

Correct. Under the above circumstances, you can run Office only from

the server's console.

Correct.

We all should be so lucky, to get off so cheap. You need an Office

2007 license for *each individual* client that will be running it.

Under the scenario you've described, therefore, you'd need a minimum of

60 licenses.
