Hi, I have a dell dimension 9100 and I was wondering what graphics cards would be compatable with it. I know my description is kind of scarce, but I don't really know much about comupters. Thanks in advance,

Andrew

Hello and welcome....

You do know its not as simple as just buying a graphics card and fitting it?

Your PSU is only 375 watts you would also have to pay out for a new Power Supply Unit.

According to your system specs - you have one PCIe x 16 slot.

This is what you would need for your new Video Card.

Depending on what you select - you will probably need a new Power Supply Unit too as you only have a 375Watt as J-B has pointed out.

You would need to select the Video Card first then make sure that you have a PSU that can supply it with enough power.

Your choice of card will be limited by what you want to spend.

Thanks for your help, where exactly would I be able to purchase a new psu, and I would probably use the graphics card for some gaming- but not much. Any recommendations on a video card?

I would be going for at least a 500 watt PSU,I would not be buying the Dell brand but OCZ or Corsair or another well known branded and reliable PSU.....

It is a good card.

You just need to be aware that it is not new - and probably comes with no guarantee at all.
