Generic Windows System directory

Is there a way I can use the generic label to change to system directory in

XP?

eg. by default the system directory will be

c:\windows\system32

 

At command prompt

cd c:\windows\system32

 

What if some OS they are installed say c:\winNT\system32?

You can change the WINDOWS folder to whatever name you like, but only during

the instalation.
