Guest Sirius Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Now that I found the Clipboard viewer, I was trying to capture the desktop with the "Print Screen"button, but it does not work. When I open the viewer, all I see is blackness. When I paste it to Paint, same thing, blackness. Is this a problem with the keyboard, or the applet? How do I find out? Do I need to update something? Any suggestions would be great. Thank you. Sirius.

Guest 3c273 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Re: Print Screen Sounds like print screen is buggered for some reason. Have you tried a third party screen shot utility? You might try MWSnap (freeware) and see if that will work. Louis "Sirius" <nospam22-nospam@yahoo.nul> wrote in message news:eqKdjQOFJHA.1272@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Nope, it's not working. Guest Bob I Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Re: Print Screen Perhaps the problem is WHAT you are trying to screencapture. For instance, "movies" don't work. Guest Sirius Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Re: Print Screen I filled the screen with an internet explorer window and the print screen button did work with that. So I guess it's not the button, Bob I was right, thank you. I did get the cat with the freebie software Mr. 3c273 recommended, and it's not bad, but not the full resolution. Turns out this screen saver thing is spyware, so I really would like to get even with them and snag their photo.... So I have this older Windows XP computer "infected" on purpose for the experiment. Stealing from a thief is not really stealing..... Thank you. S. "HeyBub" <heybub@gmail.com> wrote in message news:%23FStHzQFJHA.4420@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Sirius wrote: >> Nope, it's not working.
