flash drive

Bought 8G flash drive. FAT32. it writes, but slowly.

 

tried to format as NTFS, no go.

 

tried to convert to ntfs. error "ntfs boot sector unwriteable"

 

 

??? any hints?

LEAVE it as FAT32. There is no point in using NTFS for a flash drive.

(It is much more "flexible" this way for applications (by using FAT).

I agree with Bill. Also if you have USB 1 it will be slow, if

you have USB 2 probably too many apps using it at the same time.
