WelshWitch Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 Just installed a new PSU ( Silverstone Strider 500w) and still no post beeps, same as previous PSU basically ... green light on MB comes on, fans work, LED's work but no beeps ( this is just with the PSU connected and the system panel connectors) is it time to give up on my motherboard? With all hardware off the board except for the basics and you are still getting no POST then it does look like the m/board has died. If you have a good tech ( small shop ) locally they may check the m/board for you for a small fee. I suspect that it is of no more use though. If you look for your specific m/board on ebay you may be able to get a cheap replacement. If it isn't exactly the same you will need to re-install the Operating System on the hard drive.
