Guest R Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Hello all- I get an error that my computer (hp pavilion zd7000) can't find a dynamic library, qfdomsrd.dll. I haven't been able to track down what this library is anywhere on the web. Anyone with any ideas what's happening here? Thanks. Randy

Download malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Boot into safe mode with networking, and then run the program.. While you are in safe mode, run the 'VUNDOFIX' from this website.. it is about half way down the page.. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/remove-vundo-virtumonde -- Mike Hall - MVP How to construct a good post.. http://dts-l.com/goodpost.htm How to use the Microsoft Product Support Newsgroups.. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=newswhelp&style=toc Mike's Window - My Blog.. http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/default.aspx
Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Re: XP error: qfdomsrd.dll You have a Vundo infection, usually accompanied by ZLOB and/or SDBot infections, all of which is protected by a rootkit. Run a thorough check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log to an appropriate forum.
