Guest Robert S Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Several times I have either received the above message - or "insufficient page file space". I've very rarely seen this in the past with XP which makes me think something's wrong. When I open up the task manager I get: Physical Memory (K) Total 523760 Available 185000 System cache 255084 Kernel memory 44396 Paged 30362 Nonpaged 14124 The Page File Usage History is running fairly constantly just over 50% When I open MS Word and Exploror the Page File Usage History runs at about 60% At the moment I'm running ESET Smart Security, Outlook Express and Firefox. Are these figures appropriate? What is the best way of debugging these problems?

Guest Robert S Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Re: "Insufficient system resources" messages I've got a Gigabyte K8 Triton GA-K8N mobo. Don't know what OpenVMS on the link has to do with it. Robert.
