Guest iontrap Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Since installing SP3, everytime I start my computer I get a "Stop Device" box that says "This application will not run on this Operating System." It doesn't tell me what application it is and there are no hardware problems listed in the Device Manager. How can I find out what this application is?
Guest Kevin Cole Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Re: Issue after installing SP3 You could try running msconfig and having a look at what is running on system start up. Obviously you backed up your machine before applying the SP so you could always roll back and see if that resolves the issue? At leaset you'll know for sure then it was SP3 that caused it?
