If the uninstaller won't run in Safe Mode, maybe try manually shutting down its services first (services.msc). Otherwise, here are some support links: microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.generaldiscussion Windows Live OneCare Forums: http://forums.microsoft.com/windowsonecare/default.aspx?siteid=2 Good luck, Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! Guest Joe T Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Re: Live care sucks Just one more thing, now since I have removed it, it still asks for my username and password. I hit cancel and I go on without it. How do I remove this annoying sign in pop up? "Joe T" wrote: > I searched Google and found a "Live Care Removal Tool " and it worked. Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Re: Live care sucks I've heard the same complaint from other MSN Partner subscribers, Joe. If you want to use OneCare, best to purchase it and install the full standalone version. Joe T wrote: > Yep, uninstalled AVG. I reinstalled AVG now.
