How do you delete items from the open command under run? I have number of

web site that I no longer use.

You can delete them from here:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

That deleted them from the registery, but they are still under the Run - Open

command. Suggestions?

Windows will read many registry entries into its working memory at boot time

or at logon time. If you hack the registry then you must in most cases force

a refresh of these entries by means of a re-logon or a reboot.

Right click the Start Button and select properties.

On the Taskbar and Start Menu click on the Start Menu tab then click on

Customize button, under General click on the Clear list button to clear the

most recent oppened programs.

Click on Advanced Tab and clear most recent docs.

Click [OK] and then Hit F5 to refresh, does it work?
