If you hack the registry then you must in most cases force a refresh of these entries by means of a re-logon or a reboot. On the Taskbar and Start Menu click on the Start Menu tab then click on Customize button, under General click on the Clear list button to clear the most recent oppened programs. Click on Advanced Tab and clear most recent docs. Click [OK] and then Hit F5 to refresh, does it work?
