So many fragment on NTFS compress partition

Hi All,

I have a question on using NTFS compress partition. I used to use NTFS

without compress on my mobile disk and have little fragment. Recently, I

formatted its all partition and use compress on each partition. When I copy

all files back to it, I found that there are so many fragment on each

partition. And when I copy a file to it, it shows as fragment. I check all

this by using Windows XP defragment.

 

Does anybody know why? Thank you!
