Any clues? By Flash drive, do you mean USB thumb-type drives? If so, you should be aware that these do have a habit of suddenly and irretriveably failing. You can't rely on these for backup or storage for this reason. They should be regarded only as a convenient tool for moving files that do exist elsewhere. HTH -pkj
