Guest Renny Bosch Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I have been using NTI (New Technology Inc.) File Backup for same time. Recently they "upgraded" to version 5, and made the user interface much less intuitive. Also, it seems to lose some information I entered, such as Job Name, Overwrite option, and Verify option. Is there a preferred file backup program that you experts recommend? (XP SP3.) Thank you.

I would not recommend it for backing up a business environment (because this it not its primary function), but for home use it is entirely adequate. It provides a method of restoring to a brand new blank disc.

Totally cheap compared to your time if you find you have no other way to boot short of using your Windows installation media.
