Guest User Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 XP Media Center, Version 2002, Service Pack 2 Dell Dimension E520 Quite often my USB mouse "sticks" for a moment, then recovers. Several times a day it freezes entirely and I have to unplug it then plug it back in to get it working again. (Some sort of driver conflict?) Surfing around on the web I see a lot of people recommending to uninstall/reinstall the mouse driver. But I'm a little reluctant to do this. If I uninstall the driver, won't the mouse stop working? How would I do anything after uninstalling the driver, and where would I find a new driver to install? Thanks.

I suggest trying a different mouse and if that works, replace the defective one. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html Multi-AV - http://www.pctipp.ch/downloads/dl/35905.asp
