Hi

 

Recently my PC auto updated to SP3. Since then my DVD burner/Rom is not able

to read blank DVDs/CDs (imation)!! The moment I place an empty DVD to burn

some data, my PC restarts. DVD ROM is able to read any CD or DVD which

already has data or movie in it. I am not sure that is the problem.

 

Once (PC got re-booted) windows stated that my PC has recovered from serious

error. After checking the report that was created, some BCP codes and some

other codes were stated in the report. I googled the problem and bought

Regcure to fix the error. Since then I have never rec'd this error whenever

my PC reboots its self after I place a blank DVD/CD in my DVD ROM.

 

But the restart issue remains, the moment I place a blank DVD in the ROM.

PLEASE advise/help!
