Hi,

I have an ASUS A8N-SLi Deluxe M'board and I am trying to replace the original fan.

I have been looking around and decided on an ENZOTECH CNB-R1 Rev A with a SWIFTECH MCX159-CU fan but I can't seem to find it in this country (just the US).

Does anyone know where I could possibly get one of these or suggest something else just as good?

A ZALMAN ZM-NB47J cooler was also suggested but I would like to be able to fit a fan and I'm not sure I can to this cooler.

Any advice?

Hi WelshWitch. I see chipset fan failure on your motherboard is quite common. I your willing to look at other chipset coolers Akasa make some which look like they should fit your board the can be purchased from Novatech. They come with two fitments (pins or thermal pad) so they fit most boards.

As for the Zalman cooler it doesn't take a fan as it is a passive heatsink. I have one fitted to my Abit motherboard and it runs cooler than the original fan.

Do you have the measurements for the size? Measure from the center of the holes diagonally. Would make finding a suitable heatsink.

Had a little look around and can't find anything to the same size as yours. I did find this however

(I've bought fans from them in the past and are quite rapid to post)

This one has a thermal tape, so it doesn't come with pins.

Not sure if anyone would recommend using this type of heatsink/fan, might be worth a shot?

Perhaps it's worth keeping in mind if nothing else shows up

Hi again,

just wondered what you thought of this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000LGFHFG/ref=sc_pgp__m_A1WYZQ02J81SQY_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1WYZQ02J81SQY&n=&s=&v=glance

I know it's quite expensive but I need a decent one for peace of mind, this chip's been through a lot lol;)

Have emailed them to see if it will actually fit my MB but any advice from this site would be great!

Price is a bit steep ain't it seeing as they only cost $29 from Thermaltake.

If you don't mind paying the money fitting shouldn't be a problem as the fixing screws are adjustable to your motherboard. Seem to be well reviewed and Thermaltake are a reputable brand.

Hmmmmm ..... I notice it's been discontinued on the US site and it's not available in the UK on the site ....probably why it's so expensive on Amazon:mad2:
