Jim H Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Hello Jelly Bean Hi. The issues are around my monitor giving me " monitor going to sleep " message after several minutes of video playback..As I said, I'm very new to online forums, do I need to start a new topic somewhere else in the forum to go into more detail, or I am I ok giving you the lowdown here.? Many thanks Jim. Quote
Jelly Bean Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Jim have you tested the monitor on another computer or laptop and see if the same happens? This could be your graphics card or power settings. Try turning hybernation off in power settings and /or sleep. Download and install SpeedFan Please post results as in temps of your graphics card. Could you also post make and model of your computer or list your hardware please... Quote Rwy'n ceisio fy ngorau......................
