Guest Jill Johnson Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 We are running Windows XP. For some reasons, when we press CTRL+ ALT+ Del at the same time, the Windows Task Manager is displayed. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks.

On my desktop and laptop systems with XP Pro, the three finger salute brings up a Windows Security pane with 6 options, Task Manager being one of them. That's always been the case, so maybe that's the way it works with Pro.

Guest Jill Johnson Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Re: Windows Task Manager Thanks all very much. I was expecting to have a window with 6 options (Lock Computer, Change Password, Logoff, Shutdown, etc.) when I press CTRL+ALT+DEL. My problem was I had the Welcome screen. With your help, my problem is now fixed. Thanks again for your help.
