Music files for Win98 (CHIMES.WAV and dozens more) are installed by default in your c:\windows\media. Other music files may be associated with the Sampler folder on the Win98 CD. It is not clear which files you want. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada)

Click them there, & they will play nicely in WMP (Windows Media Player). In Win98SE, they are in Cabinet WIN98_69.CAB, but with DOS names. For instance, "Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3.rmi" will be "bachsb~1.rmi", & "Beethoven's 5th Symphony.rmi" will be "beetho~2.rmi". | "Don Phillipson" wrote: | |> "Steven" <Steven@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message |> news:9CCA1EB8-1D56-4D2A-83F1-C2FC78E3E2FB@microsoft.com... |> |> > does anybody know where the sample music is on the windows 98 |> > install disc. if not could somebody please send them to me via |> > email. |> |> Music files for Win98 (CHIMES.WAV and dozens more) |> are installed by default in your c:\windows\media.
