Guest melickas@yahoo.com Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 We posted this to the SBS group without response yet, so thought we would try it here: We currently have an SBS2000 server with a member 2003 Terminal Server. This TS is also the License Server. We need to move this TS to a SBS2003 domain. Does the TS licensing have to be moved to the SBS2003 Server or can the TS remain the License Server? If we do have to move the licensing, can anyone direct us to article to explain how to do this? Thank you.
Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Re: Licensing Question- moving TS to SBS2003 domain No, you don't have to move the TS Licensing Server role, you can keep it on the same 2003 TS as it is now. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ melickas@yahoo.com wrote on 17 sep 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > We posted this to the SBS group without response yet, so thought > we would try it here: > > We currently have an SBS2000 server with a member 2003 Terminal > Server.
