Guest sgopus Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 RE: transferring files Certainly, when buying a new hd, most makers send a cd with utilities to do just that, and if not the cd there is a web address where you can download the utilities. but what your talking about is similar to hooking two pc's together and making a network where they communicate with each other. an easier way is to use an external SATA or USB drive to move the data from pc to pc, and these day fairly cheap I have two external sata drives 300 Gig less than $100 bucks, and using sata is fast.
