Guest AU Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Hello, I am running a simple NTBackup on a Windows 2003 server, the backups finishes sucessfully without any errors and everything is fine, but the tape does not eject? I remember when I configured NTBackup on another machine it auto ejects. What's Up?

You'd have to run your backup via a batch file or script that included the rsm /eject command.

Yes, you can, but the whole thing would be much more robust and maintainable if you put the lot into a batch file.
