i cant download anything as need admin password!

hope somebody can help me....?

 

I have a computer running xp which my dad got for my younger sister, and as she doesnt use it, my dad has given this to me.

The problem is, she set up an administrative account with password, which she refuses to give us. so i cannot download programs or even simple things like adobe flash player. I cant even watch youtube without it.

 

I either need help in finding how to crack the password or reset the whole computer without deleting windows.

 

i have no discs to write things onto, or floppys or anything like that

 

i need complete step by step assistance

 

i have an external hard drive and a usb stick

 

need help asap!

I know it sounds harsh that we are unable to help you,but we cannot break the law.

 

Why will she not give you the password?

 

Go be nice to the stubbon mare.

 

Take the machine to a repair shop if your not compuer savvy and they can advise you is my best option.

As J-B says - we cannot provide any assistance with passwords.

 

You say your dad got the machine for your younger sister.

It looks as if she has every right to set up a password entry - as it it her machine.

 

Suggest that you have a word with your dad - he may be able to talk a bit of sense into her.

We cannot assist further - sorry.
