Hi beeceebee, the clock on Wolfeys desktop is part of windows vista sidebar, you can find similar applications for XP online I believe.

 

The clock on my desktop is not part of vista but this application here ClocX - Free analog clock for Windows desktop I use it as I found the sidebar really slowing down my startup etc, but liked the clcok, there are quite a few options included in the clocx application although a lot aren't that great and they probably aren't quite as nice as the options for vista sidebar.

Qlock is a digital version which also allows you to see multiple times zones across the world Barry, ideal for you I would have thought.

Nice and simple, I use the Vista startmenu search to open any programs I might need, which only ever includes FireFox and MSN when I'm on the laptop :P

Since this is the tread where I learned about avatars and since posting this here will not interfere with anyones real PC problems I thought I would make an observation to my friend Wofleymole.

 

I noticed that I went from Junior member to member to SENIOR member. While I thought that was quite nice and liked the distinction, I was just looking through the membership list and it appears that I am the ONLY senior member. :eek:

 

This brings to mind the real possibility that you are taking the mick (pulling my chain for us Yanks.) Now, before you answer best take a good look at that avatar of mine. She is every bit as tough as she looks and would make mince out of that wolf. TAKE THIS AS A WARNING if you change me to "over the hill member"she will attack. :mad::mad::mad::mad: :D

Barry don't let it bother you. Custom titles are useless and irrelevant as they do not show how valuable a member is. The title you get depends on your post count. To achieve the Senior Member title, you need to have more than 100 posts but less than 200 posts. If you cross the 200 mark, you will be identified as a Distinguished Member. If you stick with the site for long, the Administrators have the power to give you a custom title such as Devoted FPCH Member or Long Term FPCH Helper. Again, it is all irrelevant as it is the quality of your posts and not quantity that judges your worth. :)

 

And you would better get your pet out of that picture or Wolfey will tear her to bits. :D
