Guest jgos1@earthlink.net Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 On a network with a 95 based file server, and xp machines, files are moving into different directories on their own. At first I thought the files were dissapearing, but they are just found in different directories. It keeps happening, is there any bugs like this or is it human error?
Guest Jeff Richards Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Re: files move to different directory on their own? Most likely it is the user accidentally dragging and dropping files. Are the folders that the files move into mostly subfolders of the folder the file was originally located in? -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) <jgos1@earthlink.net> wrote in message news:c06b5be9-4d50-4c6d-9419-24ee896dd65a@t54g2000hsg.googlegroups.com... > > On a network with a 95 based file server, and xp machines, files are > moving into different directories on their own.
