Guest D.Duck Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Recently I noticed that the Auto Logon feature in Power Toys, Tweak UI does not stick. Every time I reboot I have to re-enable this feature. System is WinXP Pro SP2 with all latest updates. and Tweak UI is v2.10.0.0. Has MS intentional broken this feature and if so is there away to make it work again? Thanks.

I have SP3 and use it with no issue.
Guest Jo-Anne Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Re: Auto Logon I had the same problem in WinXP Home SP3. Turned out (with advice received from this list) I needed to click Set Password in Tweak UI, even if the password was a blank, in order to make it stick. I think I simply hit OK on the password page. All was well after that. Hope this helps! Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try. I, like you, don't use a password.
