regniarg Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could offer some help? I currently have a Compaq Mini 700 netbook running Windows XP. I need to format it or at least revert to factory settings. As it has no optical drive I can not simply use discs. I have checked the BIOS but have no option to perform a low-level format. I've checked around but can't seem to find a solution to this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Quote

If you do not or cannot borrow an external CD/DVD rom drive then you can install from a USB pendrive. How to Install Windows via USB Pendrive I hope this helps.
