Guest Virgilijus Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Before I upgraded the pc from win2k to win-xp, I forgot to uninstall the windows 2000 support tools. Now when I do try to get rid of them, it keeps looking for 2000rkst.msi. Is there a way to manually uninstall the tools??
Guest John John (MVP) Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Re: Delete win2k support tools The 2000rkst.msi can be found on your Windows 2000 CD, when it looks for the file just point it to the \support\tools\ folder on the cd. John PS. How are you trying to get rid of the tools? Virgilijus wrote: > Before I upgraded the pc from win2k to win-xp, I forgot to uninstall the > windows 2000 support tools.
