Hi all,

We have a problem with performance of our Microsoft Dynamics SQL Server 2005

box.

It is a HP DL350 with P400 Controller (with battery and 512MB cache on

controller)

on controller 8 disks

2 mirror disks drive c

2 mirror disks drive e (SQL Log)

4 raid 10 disks drive f (SQL Data)

When performing an action in the database (posting invoice) we see the

average read queue on drive f: fot 4 minutes 100%

in that case cpu is 5%, on drive e no action.

We have latest controller firmware (5.20).

Do we have wrong SQL parmeters we could check?

kind regards,

Gerrit

Hello G. Janssen G.,

Think you should better post this here:

microsoft.public.sqlserver.server

and there are a lot more NG's about SQL available.
