Guest Jason Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Even though WGA Notification (KB905474) is installed and showing in control panel - add/remove programs, Automatic update is still wanting to download them. Same goes for Windows Media Runtime 9.5 (KB923689 and KB941569) Thanks, J.

Try to Access the Microsoft windows Updates site and then Select CUSTOM and scan instead of Express and let it do its check for updates. When you repesented with the avilable updates Uncheck these updates which keep popin-up. Also check never show me this check box by Expanding the Plus [+] to [-] next the updates. Another to delete this Folder called Download and updates here: C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution= Download Updates Run this tool: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim Reboot your machine and see if the updates will pop-up if it did uncheck the check boxes then check the check box for never show me this message again!
