Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Re: windows server 2008 printing issue Have you enabled printer redirection, on the server and the client? Have you enabled Easy Print? If not, there's probably no driver available for your local printer (you can verify this in the EventLog on the server). _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ =?Utf-8?B?bWFyaW8gYWlyZXM=?= <marioaires@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 24 sep 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > hi! > i have a server in my office (pc office) using windows server > 2008, and a pc at home (pchome) using xp home.i work with an > applicattion at home wich is installed in my pc office(server > 2008) using remote desktop conection.it allways worked fine > with server 2003.Now i use windows server 2008 and have the > followinf problem:i have one local printer at home, but when i > log into the application installed on the server with remote > desktop i can only see the printers installed on the server.but > i wan to to print at home to my local printer.
