Extend System Partition - Win2003

Curently have 8gb system (basic) partition that needs extending. Can this be

done?

The HDs are not physically connected to the actual system. It uses shared

storage located on an IBM AS/400. They allocate the space and I usually use

diskpart to extend a data partition.

Read a couple things and looks like system partition may be different.

If it can't be, what are my alternatives?

thanks

You need a third-party partition manager, e.g. Acronis DiskDirector.
