Guest allen@example.invalid Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 RE: WinXP SP3 INstallation Hello, I have recently received the SP3 upgrade. It does seem to have taken a long time for it to come through autmatic updates? Its sat at the bottom of my computer telling me to install it. I don't know how to get rid of it, so. I must try it... Having only very limited eperience, and only finding this newsgroup 2 days ago, I want to try and do the update myself. I've had a brief look at some of the advice posted here during September. I am very worried about the following: 1/ How to do a 'back-up' 2/ Safely installing without problems. Any advice must be in non-techie language please. Thanks for any help Allen
