Guest Casey Sistrunk Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Is there a way around the win 2k3 memory limit or 4GB? Or can it be upgraded to the enterprise edition kernel without losing any programs/data/settings?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Re: Server 2003 Memory Limit Hello Casey, If you talk about upgrading standard to enterprise version, just insert the disk and follow the wizard for upgrading. If you install 2003 standard edition r2 64 bit you can use up to 32GB RAM, which requires a reinstall from scratch, no way to upgrade 32bit to 64bit OS.
