Are you asking for the end point C drive to be the C drive on the terminal server? If so, it cannot be done. > - how to re-direct printer to user local printer prining What server version are we talking about? win2k3 has the fallback drivers for generic capabilities and Win2k8 has easy print. You can also install drivers manually (names must match exactly) on the server that match the client print drivers. > > Pls advice how to setup. > >

It makes a huge difference. - Office 2003 Use Group Policy to redirect the desktop and then Group Policy again to lock down the desktop - please advice how to create group policy or any ref web site. Are you asking for the end point C drive to be the C drive on the terminal server? If so, it cannot be done. - Yes, user must be save as file from TS server to user local hardisk , please advice how can to setup. If you want automatic configuration of things like Outlook then you need to use the Office resource kit (http://office.microsoft.com/ork2003) to create a transform file. > > Use Group Policy to redirect the desktop and then Group Policy again to lock > down the desktop > - please advice how to create group policy or any ref web site. I could write a book on how to do this. There are many references from Microsoft and others on how to do redirection, etc with Group Policy. A little research or buying a book from Amazon will get you answers. > > Are you asking for the end point C drive to be the C drive on the terminal > server? You can redirect drives by simply clicking the appropriate box in the rdp client. You cannot tell it to replace the C: drive though. > > What server version are we talking about? win2k3 has the fallback drivers > for generic capabilities and Win2k8 has easy print. Fallback drivers are configured in Group Policy. If you are unfamiliar with group policy I would HIGHLY suggest buying a book or two on it as it is very powerful and will take care of many of your problems mentioned here. > > > - > "Jeff Pitsch" <jeff.pitsch.fake@jeffpitschconsulting.com> wrote in message > news:eo1H7g9HJHA.788@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... >> See in-line >> >> Jeff Pitsch >> Microsoft MVP - Terminal Services >> >> IT wrote: >>> now i have building the windows 2003 stndard server for run terminal >>> server.
