Convert Basic > Dynamic disk and align of partition

If I first create primary parition on basic disk, and align that partition

with align=64 and format partition with 64k allocation unit size and after a

while decide to convert that basic disk to Dynamic, will alignment and

allocation unit remain and still be 64 for both?

 

And if so...what happens If I decide to extend that volume will that

extended volume remain with partition of align 64 and 64k unit size?
