Problems with group policy update

When I went through the logs of one of XP workstations I noticed that

it gets a lot of errors about not being able to access some group

policy located in SYSVOL folder on the server. When running gpupdate

the operation seems to be successful but when looking into event logs

of that PC there are same errors again. What I found is that it tries

to access a policy that doesn't exist on the server within the

Policies folder inside SYSVOL. What is the way to fix it?
