Guest Robert S Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 I've just started getting this error message when I try to open the Address Book in OE. It occurs on all user accounts: Outlook Express: "Unable to open the Address Book. The Address Book may not be installed properly". When I open up a message by double clicking on it I get "There was an error opening this message. An error has occurred" (Mac-like informativeness). I'm still able to view the message in the preview pane. I get the same message when I try to compose a new message. I can locate the Address Book according to its place in the registry, and it opens normally when I double click on it. Can anybody help here? I've just uninstalled Office 2000 and installed Office 2003 - if this helps. -- Robert S <robert.spam.me.senseless@gmail.com>
