tismehi Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 i recently fitted a sapphire 5450 graphics card to my newly accuired fujitsu esprimo E5915 SFF pc. the psu on the machine is 250 wayy and the documentation that came with the card tells me that i should have a minimum of 500 watt. the psu in this case is a very oddly shaped one and a standard psu will not physically fit in the space provided. when i try booting the machine it refuses to fire up - until i remove the graphics card, then it boots fine and works well. i therefore think i should invest in another graphics card. could anyone suggest a particular one that will function with the 250 watt psu? or i'm open to listening to other suggestions too of course. KenB Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Hi, Depending on where you have the machine set up you could always consider mounting a new PSU outside the case. Looks a bit odd but it would get around the problem. 250 Watts is very basic and is what was used on older systems. The newer ones come with a little bit more power. I doubt that you will find a card that will run off that PSU. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
